Sebastian Cody’s leadership advisory work focuses on the interface between management competencies and future strategic development. 

Sebastian has an established track record working with leading corporations and organisations in Austria and UK as an advisor and sounding board to senior leaders, accompanying them as they confront significant professional, leadership, and organisational challenges.

Sebastian develops personal relationships with his clients based on trust and mutual respect, while offering a rigorous process, robust challenge, and constructive, solutions-oriented support.

Sebastian’s advisory work addresses issues such as public and government affairs, stakeholder communications, media training and coaching, crisis management, strategic operations, and organisational development. 

As a senior television executive Sebastian has been responsible for a wide-range of acclaimed network productions, including the landmark series After Dark, described in the British press as “the most intelligent, thought-provoking and interesting programme ever to have been on television”. The list of that programme’s 1,000+ participants is an invaluable record of public life and thought in the UK.  

Sebastian’s opinions have appeared in numerous publications, including The Times and The Guardian

Sebastian is currently Visiting Researcher at the University of Westminster. For more than fifteen years he was a Visitor at the University of Oxford, variously at the Environmental Change Institute at the Oxford University Centre for the Environment, and the Rothermere American Institute. Sebastian became a Senior Associate Member of St Antony’s College Oxford in 2004. 

Sebastian works in German and English and is the CEO and owner of Open Media Ltd.
